The business moved to its current location in 1977 where there was a small filling station and workshop. Over the years the company has developed to a large modern workshop and well equipped filling station including village shop.


The fuel distribution side of the company was started in 1989 with a single delivery lorry. We now have an active fleet of lorries, which are used to collect and deliver fuel.

The company continues to modernize and expand and operate from the base at Grindley Brook and we now have a customer base that exceeds 8,000 people.

The Company comprises of three separate companies:

D.A Roberts Fuels Ltd.
D.A Roberts Garage Ltd.
D.A Roberts Haulage Ltd.

It is a family run business and the directors are:

P.A Roberts (Director)
P.D.M Roberts (Secretary)
